Akerfelds had an eventful week for the Cougars, who knocked off WPI and then took part in the non-scoring Wheaton Invite.

Clark Sophomore Eileen Garcia Named NEWMAC Women's Diver of the Week
Garcia had one of the best diving performances on the three-meter board in the country this season. She smashed her own school-record of 299.65 with a mind-boggling 303.90, erasing the pool record as well.

Coast Guard Junior Kim Shadwick Named NEWMAC Women's Swimmer of the Week
Kim Shadwick won three events and broke the pool record in the 1,000 freestyle as Coast Guard handed Clark its first dual meet loss of the season with a 165-135 win.

MIT to Participate in Swim/Dive for Haiti
On Saturday, January 30, the MIT men's and women's swimming and diving teams will be dedicating the season's final home meet to assisting the victims of the recent earthquake in Haiti.
