NEWMAC Women's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week

Geocaris and Teague posted a 2-0 mark from the first position in leading top-seeded Wheaton to its first conference championship in program history. Against number-four Smith during Sunday's semifinal round, the regionally-ranked duo blanked their counterparts as the Lyons swept the Pioneers, 5-0. Geocaris and Teague then provided Wheaton with a much-needed doubles point in the title match versus five-time defending league tournament champion Wellesley College. Trailing 5-4 against the second-seeded Blue, the tandem rattled off wins in four straight games against a nationally-ranked foe for an 8-5 triumph and eventual 5-4 team victory.
