Isabel Custodio, Wellesley College, OPP/S, 2013 (Powell, Ohio)

A sophomore setter/opposite, Isabel Custodio led Wellesley to a 4-1 week, including wins over three regionally-ranked opponents (MIT, Connecticut College, and Springfield). Custodio opened her week with a .412 hitting performance (7 kills, 0 errors, 17 attempts) in a 3-0 sweep of NEMAC rival MIT. She then led the Blue to a second-place finish at the MIT Invitational, earning all-tournament honors as she racked up 75 assists, 47 kills (.349), 34 digs, and five blocks for the weekend. She also notched a rare triple-double in Friday's win over Conn. College, when she tallied 13 kills (.500), 19 assists, and ten digs in the five-set win. For the week, Custodio recorded 88 assists, 38 digs, six blocks, and four aces to go along with 54 kills on 123 attempts with only 10 errors, for a blistering .358 hitting average.
