Wellesley First Year Randelle Boots Named NEWMAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

NEWMAC Women's Runner of the Week:

Randelle Boots, Wellesley College, 2013 (Seekonk, Mass.)

Randelle Boots recorded her first collegiate win on Saturday taking home top honors at Gordon College's Pop Crowell Invitational. The rookie posted a time of 18:55 to place first out of a field of 290 finishers in the 5K race. Boots' first place finish led Wellesley to the team title, as the Blue won the 25-team event.
