WESTWOOD, Mass. - After the finale of the regular season today, the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) has revealed the 2019 Men's Lacrosse Championship Bracket. The championship tournament will consist of five teams that will compete for the title of NEWMAC Champion.
After posting a 6-1 season record and winning the regular season title, Coast Guard claims the No. 1 seed and earns hosting rights to a semifinal on Thursday. After conducting tie-breaking procedures in a three-way tie between Springfield (5-2), MIT (5-2) and Clark (5-2), the Pride won out the tie for the No. 2 seed, receiving hosting rights and a first-round bye. The Engineers will travel to the Pride in a semifinal game as the No. 3 seed. The Cougars will host No. 5 Babson (4-3) in a quarterfinal game on Tuesday.
