Babson's Parker and Clark's Feshbach-Meriney Garner Men's Soccer Weekly Honors

Babson's Parker and Clark's Feshbach-Meriney Garner Men's Soccer Weekly Honors

NEWMAC Men's Soccer Offensive Athlete of the Week

Noah Parker, Babson (Sr., M – Hampden, Maine)

Parker extended his points streak to four games with a goal in each match for four points this past week. The senior midfielder became just the seventh player to score against Tufts in the last 34 games with his first-half strike in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to the No. 5/4 Jumbos. Parker then recorded his second game-winning marker of the season in the 84th minute to lift the Beavers to a 1-0 win at Wheaton on Saturday. Going back to September 22, Parker has had a hand in Babson's last eight goals.

NEWMAC Men's Soccer Defensive Athlete of the Week

Julian Feshbach-Meriney, Clark (Sr., D – Concord, Mass.)

Feshbach-Meriney helped lead Clark to a 2-0 week as he anchored a defensive line that allowed just one goal scored. The Cougars allowed just six shots on goal when they defeated Fitchburg State, 3-0, in their seventh shutout victory of the season. In a 4-1 conference victory over MIT Feshbach-Meriney helped keep the Engineers out of scoring position as they allowed just six shots on goal and one goal scored.
