WESTWOOD, Mass - The New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) announced the 2018 Men's Track and Field Coach of the Year as well as the six All-Sportsmanship Team honorees on Thursday afternoon. After leading WPI to a second place finish as well as coaching two major award winners, Head Coach Brian Chabot has been voted as the 2018 Men's Track and Field Coach of the Year.
During the Championship Meet last weekend WPI's Alex Rus and Oliver Thomas were named the Track Athlete and Rookie of the Year while MIT's Yorai Shaoul was named the Field Athlete of the Year.
